Last year we couldn't bring the people to the festival so we brought the festival to the people! This year let's BE the Juneteenth Festival. Patronize Black Businesses and show how the city of Buffalo embodies the spirit of Juneteenth.

It's okay to go back, fetch and return; this is the meaning of the Andinkra symbol of Sankofa. During Sankofa Days, emphasis is placed on wisdom from those who came before us.
